Purples and Poppies on the lower slopes of the Florida Mountains, NM.
The first video is footage taken at the ranch during the dry winter months. The second video, courtesy of Running H Hunts, briefly shows a Persian Ibex billy goat leading a group of female ibex up one of the canyon walls within the Floridas. The ibex is a species native to Iran and was introduced to the Florida range in the 1970s. Hunting is by permit, issued by lottery through the NM State Department of Fish and Game.
